Victor and the Spoils is the one-man project of Adam Pankewycz. Based out of Memphis, TN, Victor and the Spoils create original music ranging in style from experimental indie rock to dark pop. The mind of the project lies in the song writing both on guitar and piano and in the distinctive vocal arrangements, but at its heart is the Boss DR-5, a drum machine capable of producing bass lines, rhythm sections, and accompanying melodies, the combination of which yields a veritable six piece band from just one man; Victor and the Spoils uses all of these available parts with deft precision leaving audiences in pleasant—even euphoric— surprise.
