As a band, we are very much a “society”. A term that often refers to an organized group that comes together for a specific purpose. We’re just guys from different walks of life that ended up on the same road to form that society. A “sanctuary” is frequently defined as a sacred or holy place…a place that someone can find shelter. A place to retreat to and find peace. With that said, where we came from isn’t relevant…where we are now is. Our music is created with the hope that all who hear it can find sanctuary within the melody…within the words…within the message that it sends. A message of the hope and love that we can only find in our Savior, Jesus Christ. Living in this world, sometimes we have to go through a lot of pain and fear and tribulation to get to Him. But if you can listen to our song and close your eyes and travel through it to that sanctuary, to that place where you can discover the peace that can only be found in God, then we’ve done just a little of what God wants us to do. We are Sanctuary Society. Peace!
