Defying Daedalus formed in early 2007 as a Hip-Hop and Metal inspired two man band. After one year of writing and influence gathering; Recording began. In 2008 the studio work started with the assistance of master engineer and producer Gabe Mckenzie. After months of piecing the songs structures together the group began to figure out their style and sound. With a tremendous love for Sci-Fi and Horror films surrounding the platform of the music the style grew into a textured fusion of metal, hip-hop, and industrial. Set out to re-establish art inside the medium of metal the group then collaborated with acclaimed artist Dirk Strangely to set the tone for the upcoming release in the summer of 2010 with the debut album; Orbiting A Dying Star. Now with the debut albums'' release the duo is set to begin exposing the general public to their definitive styleone person at a time.
