Hailing from Miami underexposed Southwest side B.O. has been making a name for himself and his distinct music now for years. Speaking more to the have nots than anyone else, B.O. has developed an almost cult like following. Now that he has signed with Bossman Ent. B.O. is set to bring his music to the world. Growing up in South Miami, an area B.O. himself calls “grimy and slimy”, B.O. was attracted to the fast life and often was a troubled youth. After being kicked out of the Miami Dade Public School system, B.O. was sent to an alternative school which he says only made him worse. “Seeing kids telling teachers to straight go to hell and all that really messed me up. It made me have a lack of respect for authority and so I ended up getting into more trouble.” But while he wasn’t busy giving his teachers and the local police force grey hairs B.O. was developing a talent which he never expected. “One day a nigga was just fuckin around freestyling and my dog told me like damn boy that shit sound good. So after that I just started goin in trying to write something and after I found that I could do that it made me think I could really do this for the street niggas.” B.O. says his music is for the underdogs in the world, the people who desire a better life but have not reached it yet. “I don’t do it for people who already on and already successful. I do it for niggas who struggling feel me. I don’t wanna talk about the shit that I got, I wanna talk about the shit that I wanna get.” Developing a quick buzz in his area with both his mixtapes and energetic performances, B.O. rose fast and established a fanbase of people who believe in him. Often times B.O. was an opening act for a major star and when he would perform and leave, half of the crowd would leave with him. It didn’t take long for this to be noticed by Justin “Yellow” Summers, CEO of Bossman Ent. who signed B.O. to the label this past spring. With his music and career B.O. says he just wants to be successful and reach people with his words. “I just want to be wealthy. I wanna be able to sit back and be like damn I did that. I wanna make sure my son straight, my daughter straight, my family. I want everybody comfortable at the end of the day.”
