It has been a while since Tournoi released “Le Jardin”, their first recorded offering. When they got back together in the studio with another friend, the jamming session took a turn into a more funky territory. The outcome was a new track entitled “Take me on a ride” which is also their second maxi single. The track is a smooth blend of rock, funk and electronic elements put together in a classic vintage mood.
Tournoi is not a band. It all begun as a practical joke between two musician friends who decided to have some fun after a hard multi hour session in the studio.
It is actually a spontaneous improvisation that relieved the pressure and stress of the musicians while they were working on a different project.
The same thing happened again, this time around with “Take me on a ride”.
All artists involved prefer their anonymity because in this way they feel they are not obligated to have any future for this project.
