I grew up singing as far back as I can remember as a little girl. It was one way of actually getting my mom to pay attention to me. I remember learning all the words to so many songs and playing my record player while singing for my mother whom I adored. I was in choir starting at 6th grade and continued until my first year in collage where I actually got kicked out due to my playful personality. My daddy bought me a guitar when I was in high school, but did not learn to play at that time. Thanks to him, he saw something in me that I didn''t. I love my daddy for all of his support. Oh, by the way, he wasn''t my biological daddy, but I knew he loved me so. My early influences were Dolly Parton, Olivia Newton-John, and Barbra Mandrell. Later influences were the Judds, Martina McBride, and Reba McEntire. I have only been playing the guitar for 6 years and it has brought my voice out in ways I never could have imagined. I''m so very passionate and very connected to this art, and it feels like my soul was calling me toward it. I''m so glad I found it. I know that I could never let it go. It is my soul. It is my therapy. It is my passion. More importantly, I love to share my world through my music. So, listen up, sit back, relax, and hear my world opening up to you.
