Kevin Reid has spent the last few years carving out himself a niche as one of Toronto''s most popular singer/guitar player. When it comes to playing the guitar Kevin is in high regard and in high demand. While residing in Toronto Canada for the last 8 years, Kevin has been involved in some of the most exciting bands to come out of the Toronto music scene. From the band ThrillHammer, which he formed and fronted in early 2007 with some like minded musicians, going on to play and wowing audiences throughout the city with their 70''s influenced double guitar layden sound reminiscent of early Thin Lizzy, AC-DC and The Allman Bros Band all rolled into one. That same year, Kevin was asked to assume lead guitar duties playing with up and coming Country Artist Marshall Dane going on to win ''''Best Live Band'''' at the TIMA awards held that year.
Upon seeing Kevin play at one of his many shows throughout the city, he was asked by members of one of Toronto''s heaviest underground hard rock bands ''Salem Saints'' if he would be interested in joining them to which he did in early 2008. Going on to open for Canadian hard rock icon ''Lee Aaron''. That same year, Kevin was approached to fill in guitar duties for Canadian Rock legends ''Helix'' all the while garnering the reputation as a highly respected and versatile player.
As a singer, Kevin has gained the reputation as one of the best and unique vocalists on the scene today. Bringing his own blend of Soul and Hard Rock edge to anything that he sings. Kevin is often compared to vocal heavyweights Chris Robinson of the Black Crowes and Bad Company''s Paul Rodgers to the late Steve Marriott. Kevin''s abilities on the mic only add to the ''''WOW'''' factor of his live shows.
Currently, Kevin is entertaining crowds with his band in which he shares the stage with two of Canada''s premier musicians Dale Harrison (The Headstones, Alannah Myles, Derek Miller Band) on Drums and Stan Miczek (Honeymoon Suite, Kim Mitchell, Sass Jordan, Killer Dwarfs ) on Bass. Never one to rest, Kevin will start the year assuming guitar duties backing up Country Artist ''Jevon Rudder'' and begin recording his third all original EP with his band.
