Given the speed of life these days, it is easier than ever to get lost in the shuffle and overwhelmed with “sensory overload.” The Lullabye Album was recorded with the intention of fostering a connecting with the incredible “grounding power” of the heart. The lyrics are empowering and hopeful, and the flow of the melodies allows one’s body to breathe a sigh of relief, easing one into grace.
In order to emboss an “ultra-abosobent” amplification of “heart energy” into the songs, Joe Fred spent 10 days preparing the recording space with sentimental goodness, which included covering the walls with over 200 8x11 “good feeling” pictures of family and friends. In addition, the songs were recorded beginning after 9pm and into the wee hours of the morning…taking advantage of the relaxed energy involved with the majority of the surrounding population being nestled in bed counting sheep ☺
Easy on the ears, the album makes a good bedfellow during the working hours, allowing one to flow through the day with relaxed control…as if surrounded by a bubble of melodic protection, warding off stress and shallow breathing thoughts.
