The Jasper Blom Quartet features four of the best Dutch internationally acclaimed jazzmusicians, with whom Jasper Blom has had an intensive musical relationship over the past 20 years culminating in this band.
In 2008 their first CD was recorded, “Statue of Liberty” featuring the music of Jasper Blom.
The Quartet ihas released their second CD “DEXTERITY” at the showcase of the Dutch Jazz and Word Music Meeting 2010
and will be presenting 2011/ 2012 its new CD throughout Europe and abroad before recording the third edition.
Guitarist Jesse van Ruller has established an international reputation since winning the Thelonious Monk Award and can be considered as one of the top jazzguitarists of the world.
Jesse and Jasper have been sharing the stage for many years playing each others music on sessions and concerts, and organizing tours and recording sessions.
