2008 Stellar Award Nominee and Amir Recording Artists, MINISTREE, has shared the stage with some of the greatest names in the gospel industry. Ministree''s members, Tyonna Singleton, Cheryl Jones-Ross, Joyce Wilson and Zanetta Wingfield, are very active in their home church where they are Pastors and ministers. They have belonged to St. John Bible Center, Lawrence, Pa. for over 30 years where Rev. Melvin Wilson is the Senior Pastor and father and grandfather of Ministree.
They are also the past winners of Gospel Explosion 2007 held in March of 2007 in Pittsburgh, Pa and hosted by Joy Ministries and Gospel icon, Dr. Bobby Jones and have appeared on Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel on the BET Network. Ministree has performed at the Dr. Bobby Jones Gospel Industry Retreats in Florida, New Orleans and Las Vegas, which aired on "The Word Network".
Ministree has become a regular musical guest on Cornerstone Television which airs nationally on the Sky Angel Network.
They were a special guest artist at "The Word" Church''s Saturday Night Live service in Cleveland, Ohio, where R.A. Vernon is the Pastor. Ministree was one of the featured artist who performed at a Celebrity Gospel Brunch, in Norfolk, Virginia, hosted by gospel personality "Humilitee" of GospelFruits online magazine to honor legendary national recording artist, Pastor Andrae Crouch. They were also selected to appear at the 16th anniversary live taping celebration of GNTV Host, Hazel Ball in Alexandria, Virginia in late September 2006. Ministree has also be a guest artist on several episodes of the Chicago based Gospel TV show "Singsation" with Dr. Willie Wilson.
Thanks to an "impromptu" moment in Nashville, Tennessee, Ministree wowed, radio program directors and gospel DJs from across the country with their talent for doing "jingles" They were persuaded to begin recording their jingles by Andre Montell (Amir Records).You can catch a snip-it of their jingle on The "Word" Network''s F.O.C.U.S. advertisements that was taped during an interview with TV Host, Lonnie Hunter at the Stellar Awards in Nashville. This same jingle has been requested by and is currently being played on several radio stations from across the country.
