in 1976 I had surrendered completely to the Lord Jesus Christ as my Lord and my Savior. About a year later in 1977 some guys came to our church telling us we had to do this and that to be "really" saved. They convinced a third of our fellowship to leave the Kailua Assembly of God and follow them in starting a new church that would go on to the "deeper things of God".
For awhile I attended both churches because the new one met early in the am and my church met later on in the late morning.
Sensing the Spirit of God in my heart at both places I became confused and just stopped attending church altogether. Alone with my wife and our baby girl I began to go back to my old life of music and drugs. The shepherd came looking for us little lost sheep through our Pastor Ray and his wife Arlene and our big sister and brother in Christ Chloe Ann and Joel. We were so happy to be back at the Kailua Church that I wrote this song as a praise to God. Thirty years later I have re-released it as an instrumental.
