She Beards began as a casual side-project for Jon Freeman and Nate Heller, who were looking for something to do in their downtime from another full-time project. They started jamming with Carmen Grande on synthesizer, and the sounds and songs they started coming up with were too fun and catchy to let fall by the wayside. With the addition of Bryce Hodge on drums, the songs really began to take shape, and resulted in the group''s self-produced debut, "EP." The band''s sound blends punk rock, surf, pop, and latin rhythms into something new and exciting.
