Ainsley Thompson, better known as I-Shadrock, was born in the rustic country of Trelawny Jamaica . While growing up, I-Shadrock started singing in the church where the choir leader quickly identify his talent. I-Shadrock’s professional entry into the music business began by operating a community base sound system named Black Wadada. I-Shadrock moved to Kingston in order to get a break in the competitive music industry. I-Shadrock had gone on to work for various labels like One Blood, Caveman, Shocking Vibes and US based Lustre Kings Productions. Most recently, he had recorded tracks for Congress Productions, such as Rebel Now, World Leaders and Rasta Love Story. His song, Free Dem With Music, is doing well in several countries as both a single and accompanying video.
I-Shadrock gives listeners another side to this lyrically conscious vocalist. Continuing his mission statement of “free dem wid music”, I-Shadrock plans to continue to deliver the world with variety, touching, uplifting, authentic soul saving reggae music.
