In keeping with his tradition of writing music without words, Loren has composed Shrouds as an answer to all of the noise from the world that we deal with daily. Designed to be listened to at low volume, the song does not use a traditional piano sound that he typically uses. Rather, the combined keyboard and plucked string instruments drive home the simple melody and sparse feel. The song was originally composed in 2006 and is Loren''s first 2011 release.
