I began my classical voice training in 1965 under an 80 something gentleman who personally knew many of the great opera singers of the 40s and 50s. He also personally knew John McCormick, the great Irish Tenor. This gentleman had faith in my vocal instrument and set me on the path of developing it. Over the years, I was blessed with several other teachers, each of whom taught me something different about the voice. During these many years, I accumulated the music that is featured on this album. A couple years ago, I got the idea of putting these together into an album in gratitude to the God who gave me this voice. The underlying theme of the first part is "The journey of a soul in search of his God." This well summarizes my journey with God and with my wife, Penny, to this point at age 71. The second part includes some Christmas favorites as well as some songs designed to encourage and strengthen the Christian family. All glory from this album goes to my God who is able to create whatever instrument will serve His purposes. May it inspire you to begin or to deepen your own journey with Him. To God Be The Glory!
