This jazzy song was featured by Continental Airlines a few years ago as part of their
onboard jazz programming. Some French musicians from Bordeaux who flew to the US
happened to hear it and were very taken by it. So,when they got back home to Bordeaux,
they began featuring it in various jazz clubs. As a result, my tune, LONESOME FOR L. A.,
is much better known in Bordeaux than in Los Angeles which, by the way, is the “sister city”
of Bordeaux. I find this to be somewhat ironical. But, on the other hand, it''s understandable that
it''s easier to be lonesome for L. A. when you''re somewhere else!
