Brimstone Rise is Wes DeLeeuw (vox), Keith Branston III (guitar), Brian Porteous (drums), Nathan Blacker (bass). They are a rock band through and through but they also harbor a deep seeded love for the blues, jazz and funk. All of the members of BSR have also played in a multitude of metal bands and this attitude and virtuosity screams through in their playing and approach to their instruments. The band has accomplished a lot in the 7 months that they have existed, from playing shows throughout Calgary and recording a 5 song E.P. with Casey Rogers (Exit Strategy,Truck). They hope their music will inspire and help, while being a catalyst for achieving their own goals.
