Johnny Bellar played resonator guitar for the Stoneman Family for 10 years; worked at Opryland for 7 years during the 1990s and played resonator guitar for Wilma Lee Cooper on the Grand Ole Opry from 1996-2000. 5 of the songs on this CD are songs that Wilma Lee did, and Johnny also sings harmony on some of these (and some of the other songs here) as he did for Wilma Lee. Also included are 5 resonator guitar instrumentals, 4 of which are duets by Bev and Johnny, and Pass Me Not is by Johnny doing 3 resonator guitar tracks in harmony.
Bev King published the world''s only resonator guitar magazine for 30 years and has recorded a number of LP records, as well as cassettes and CDs, including 2 Dobro instrumental LPs with Bashful Brother Oswald.
