Based on true life events, this CD was written for personal reasons. It is dedicated to Rachelle Sartori and the late John Peter Sartori.
Cover art was made available with the kind permission of Laura Molla'' - a young and talented Argentinian artist.
"Into the Silence" was played in a dropped major key with sound effects added later.
"Cry of the Dove" was played in a dropped minor key with sound effects added later.
Both were played on a five octave acoustic jazz harp.
"Taken" was played in G minor on a double-strung harp with sound effects added later. Opening lines were loosely inspired by the soundtrack for the DVD entitled "Alone in the Wilderness." Most times, I play one of my harps or guitar while watching films. I immediately loved the simple soundtrack on this DVD and improvised "Taken" a day or so later.
This CD is dedicated to Rachelle and John Peter Sartori.
