When Andrea''s debut album was released, critics praised her for her tasty song selection, warmth, and ability to express feeling through song, her understanding of what jazz singing is about, and last but certainly not least, her easy, ever-swinging style. This CD features some of the best New York working musicians, all of whom Andrea was playing with at the time, appearing regularly in New York jazz rooms.

Andrea is a popular performer in New York venues and festivals including Dizzy''s (Jazz at Lincoln Center), Sweet Rhythm, JVC Jazz Festival, the legendary 55 Bar, Cornelia Street Café, Makor, and many others in the New York area and across the country. International appearances include tours in Italy, Germany, Portugal, South Africa. She appeared by special invitation in "A Singers Celebration" at the Blue Note in New York, joining an impressive roster of jazz vocalists.
In addition to singing, Andrea is a songwriter. Her original compositions and unusual arrangements of standard material, as well as of poetry and music from a variety of genres, reveal a dynamic, singular musical sensibility. Some of her originals and arrangements can be heard on her 2005 release, "The Small Hours."
