Katie Elliott moved out to Wotton-under-Edge a few years ago and her experience raising a family there infuses this beautiful solo recording of original piano pieces. That, and an impressive ability to realise all sorts of emotions through composition and improvisation, because this is music that really ''feels'', whether in the abstracted pastoralism of the title track, the profound statement of friendship that is ''Amitie'' or the fragile plaint of ''If It''s Not Too Late''.
