Details:
(It says I should write about myself, oh god what do I say)

Hello there. If you’re reading this, congratulations! You found me! Hopefully if I tell you a little bit about myself, you’ll take interest in me, and hopefully my music.

My name is Val. Short for Valerie, but nobody calls me that. I live in a town that you’ve probably never heard of, but hooray if you have. I can play guitar and sing, both reasonably well, but I’ll leave that judgment up to you.

(that’s good, that’s good, what else do I say)

I’ve always been expressive, for about as long as I can remember. Singing, acting, dancing (badly), drawing, you name it, I might have tried it. I was in the orchestra in third grade, playing the cello. I didn’t like it very much, and I wasn’t very good, so I stopped. Boy, what a mistake that was. I almost always regret not staying with cello, but there’s not much I can do about it now.

(Off topic with the cello thing, talk more about music in general)

When I started playing guitar, it was like something clicked. Something finally felt right. I got better with time, and then I started writing things. Some of these things I would play for other people, some I wouldn’t. I still haven’t played some of my stuff for my family and friends, and I don’t really plan to.

I guess I should get to thank-yous now. So here it goes.

I would like to thank my parents, for being completely, absolutely, and wonderfully supportive of me my whole life. Between driving me places, paying for things, and simply putting up with me, they have been a wonderful pair of people. Second, I would like to thank Chris Caulder, my teacher and friend, for his help with this EP. He is the hand with the drum stick and the finger on the bass in every song on the album that has drums and bass. Without him, this album would not have been created. I would also like to thank my friends, for being truly amazing people in every way. Lastly, I would like to thank you, reader/listener, for taking the time to investigate me.

Thank you again for reading this.

(God I hope they like me. Please let them like me)
