I had one of those fleeting dreams in the early hours of the morning and I was left with the vision of this rather saintly woman in what appeared to be a nuns robe She had been crying and I could distictly see the tears in her eyes.I wrote the song some days later and although Mary was in the lyrics it was only later that I made the connection to Mary Magdalene . I have never written a song quite like that before and it has had a impact on me. Even though I wrote it sometime the lyrics come so fast that its only later as I dwell on them that i find myself delving into the inner parts of my mind that produced such dialogue and trying to unravel what the meaning https://www.tradebit.com the original dream a vision I don''t know I wouldn''t say I was any more religious than anyone else. In the end Sally put a beatuitful moody arrangement of piano work behind the song which was better than unplugged guitar. .
