Remember the days when Rock & Roll was about fearlessness, feeling good, feeling bad, feeling everything? You don’t have to dig through your uncle’s vinyl collection to find it anymore. Home At Last puts it all on the line, every time they hit the stage. Put your trust in Sean Lehe’s mind-bending guitar playing; let Murph’s low-end bombs blow away your fears. Go back, or forward, to a place where music moved your body, engaged your mind, and soothed your soul.
Based on a musical partnership that began in 1995, Home At Last (HAL) came together in late 2002. Beginning only with good intentions, incredible talent, and some helpful experience (Murph was a member of Capricorn recording artists, The Freddie Jones Band, and Jeff Coleman and Sean Lehe were the driving force behind Sacramento jam-rockers, Uncle Harlen’s Band) Home At Last has found a unique and powerful voice after three years of touring, recording, and soul-searching.
In addition to growing audiences in the San Francisco Bay Area, the band’s home, HAL has cultivated a devoted following throughout California, the Northwest, and Rocky Mountain states, and turned heads as a supporting act for great bands like New Monsoon, ALO, Garaj Mahal, and many others. 2006 will be a huge year for this band, beginning with the release of their first full-length album, Wampus Room, on January 14th. Wouldn’t you like to feel Home At Last?
