The first incarnation of High Page Delay was started by EJ and Mich some years ago..... What it has become with the addition of Darren is "a pop rock trio writing quite original sounding songs". Promising the listener a disparate range of music influenced by everything from 70''s pop rock to 90''s shoegaze whilst never sounding like anyone but themselves. Their first ep, "Okay. Okay? Yeah!", showcases their belief that songs should be well crafted and intiutive, and makes clear, "there is no formula for this band." Stringing together songs that cover such a broad spectrum can be a tricky endeavor, but High Page Delay manage to do it seamlessly. Keep an eye out for them. They are unique. And quite likely to have an impact on the Seattle music scene.
