3 musicians converged in Dunedin, New Zealand in early 2004 to form the Juju Crew. They merge multi-textured vocals, percussive acoustic guitar, and a funk/punk/jazz infused rhythm section. The trio generates a smooth and organic sound with a serrated edge while Juju''s honest lyrics take on poetic and realistic insight.
Their self-produced debut album "In Sea" was independently released by their own label, Oscillosonic Records, in March 2006 whilst touring the west coast of California, U.S.A.

Julian “JuJu” Wilson: Founder, Guitarist, Singer-Songwriter
A sixth generation Kiwi/Californian, Wilson is constantly writing new music with passion and purpose. A six-foot-five vegetarian, “Juju” is an avid surfer and the proud father of baby boy, Ocean.
Matty Brook: Bassist
One sandal in funk, the other in Jazz, Brook lays down energetic grooves that help theJuJuCrew defy categorical definition. A native Dunedinite, Brook collaborates with several New Zealand funk and hip-hop projects.
Paul McLennan-Kissel: Drummer and Percussionist
Both backbone and finishing touch, PMK''s lively syncopation draws from ensemble experience in New Zealand, and Central and South America. A brewer of fine beer, Paul keeps NZ tours amply lubricated.
