Pianist/composer Mike Lemieux has been writing and performing professionally since 1992. His stylistic influences range from new age pianists David Lanz and George Winston to jazz masters David Benoit and Vince Guaraldi; his compositional style bears a strong resemblance to the film and television work of composers Bob James, Mike Post and David Foster.
Audiences at Mike’s performances delight in the gently flowing rhythms, lush harmonies, and lyrical melodies which are hallmarks of his style. An intimately expressive performer, he evokes the full range of emotion from each phrase, drawing listeners to join him on an ever-evolving journey.
Mike’s widely acclaimed 2005 debut CD "As You Wish" features ten original solo compositions in his distinctive style.
