The proceeds of this CD will go towards the relief efforts in Lebanon.
We couldn’t take a group picture of the participants in this album nor could we record the works in the quality we aspired to. Because of the abhorrence of the bombing and the ongoing war there are a lot of things we just couldn’t do. Today, all our energy is channeled towards one goal: Survival.
This is a tribute to those who died, to those who survived and to those who are helping and sustaining the refugees.

On the 23rd day of this war we know we are bleeding but we won’t die. In this quest for self-determination we assert our undeniable right to live with dignity under the sun. Our resolve will not be defeated. We will remain the proof (albeit beaten and bloodied) that a multi-ethnic and multi-confessional society can exist and thrive beyond racial and confessional divisions. We will resurrect again regardless of the siege, despite of the bombings and in spite of the indiscriminate killing. On this 23rd day of the war…“We live”…

When there’s no unity there’s separation, that’s death under siege.
When there’s no communication there’s distance, that’s death under siege.
When there’s no culture there’s ignorance, that’s death under siege.
When there’s no art there’s futility, that’s death under siege.
When there’s no love there’s hate, that’s death under siege.
When there’s no freedom and dignity, tyranny prevails and that’s death under siege.
As long as there is music there is hope to brake the chains and move ahead to better days.
