Details:
Noah’s sophomore release, released to much fanfare in his one-bedroom apartment, finds him releasing an album of stuff that has been sitting in his bedroom collecting dust, waiting for him to figure out the artwork situation. (note: the artwork for this album is super, trust me) These recordings span the last 5 years and were recorded in several locations, mostly in and around Moscow, Idaho. The results are a study in variation, maybe. Its difficult to simply sum this album up. We will try: It is more percussive, more mature, more diverse, and frankly, Noah likes it more than the first album, for whatever that is worth. I guess that’s how it should be.

Since his first album A Long Time Coming, which several people have since copied as their album title (noah’s lawyer’s are hot on their trail, he thinks) Noah has spent his time doing the following highly productive things: completing college, enlightening minds young and old to the wonders of the guitar, bolstering his wardrobe specializing in informal sleep attire, sitting in saunas, maintaining his reputation as culinary genius, referring to himself in the 3rd person, continuing his training as amatuer musicologist, going to San Francisco 4 times, being trained and developed, helping found and playing lots of shows with Oracle Shack, refereeing soccer games, and generally trying to survive and he happy and make other people happy and unicorns and stuff like that. Now you know.

Special notes about this CD: Lisa Simpson appears (in fine form, of course, and on vocals, no sax this time) One of the tracks is a live recording of Oracle Shack, Tony Wozniak plays drums on one song and DJ’s on another. Most everything else is played by Noah. Several of the tracks were recorded and co-produced by legendary, highly underground Seattle-ite Jonathan Reddish. He''s so underground that if you see him, tell him to contact Noah. A few of the other tracks were recorded and co-produced by Robert Parks, co-founder of seminal Seattle-by-way-of-Moscow-band Alazingara. Thanks Robert. Noah is currently hard at work when he feels like it on an album of non-guitar music by default. He is calling this new genre indie-dub-hop of something like that. He thinks you should listen to some of these tracks and/or email him with your honest opinion. Have an above average day . . .
