We knew that this is what we wanted to do from the very beginning! We all received instruments for Christmas in 2007. We really didn''t take it seriously until we heard about a Tri-State Idol contest at Pullman Square that Summer. We decided to just try and see what we could do. We worked for a month and sent in our tape. To our disbelief, we were chosen in the top five for the contest. We were able to perform for the first time on July 4th, 2008 and really haven''t stopped since. We realized we would have to work hard in order to be able to perform so we started writing our own songs. We have over 25 original songs, written by Abbey and Casey, and made our first CD at the local vocational school as a project for their students. We then started performing at different venues to help raise money for different charities. Our first major performance was for our school where we were able to raise over $3000 for children in need for Christmas. We then were able to help raise money for Jacob Thacker, who had a rare form of brain cancer. We also perform for Relay for Life every chance we get. We feel like that''s what it''s all about. If God can use us to help people, we want to be ready to do that every chance we get! One of the highlights this year was getting to open up for country singer, Jamey Johnson! And, thanks to our wonderful fans, we were able to perform on the Plaza of the Big Sandy Superstore Arena before the Miranda Lambert concert this Fall!
We just finished our second CD with all original songs and can''t tell you how excited we are to be able to share the songs with you guys!
