Yvonne McCarthy from Askeaton began performing live at the young age of 10 making appearances with her father, Willie McCarthy in his band Flashback and in more recent years in her brother’s band ‘Acoustra’. She went on to study songwriting and music in the Stiofan Naofa Performing Arts College in Cork where she achieved distinctions in performance. It was here that Yvonne began recording and writing on guitar and piano.

She has since travelled and gigged throughout Europe, New Zealand & Australia, experiences that inspired her debut album ‘Midnight Mail’. Her first commercial single, ‘You don’t know me’ will be released in the coming weeks.
