Intown Presbyterian Church is a church located in downtown Portland, Oregon. We hold our services at the Old Church on 11th and Clay St. every Sunday at 10:00 AM. Intown Psalms is the culmination of two years worth of new music written for the church by resident music director, Matthew Curl. Matthew is a local musician and was commissioned by Intown to take the Psalms from the 1912 Psalter Hymnal and arrange them in a contemporary style that is indigenous to the community. Using acoustic instruments he has created sparse yet beautiful arrangements that breathe new life into the words of the psalmist.
