Mittal Patel, the lyricist, is a practicing MD by profession, but has a flair for writing Gujarati poetry. Her songs in this album strike a distinct chord with those who have gone through the trials and tribulations of having to live away from the love of their life. While having a strong influence of Gujarati language ''sugam sangeet'', songs and ghazals of yester-years, her lyrics exhibit the poetic maturity and contemporary vibe. This makes the listener of today identify immediately with the poetry in the songs of this album.
Pranav Jhumkhawala composed, performed and arranged the songs in this album. Pranav is heavily influenced by both current and past bollywood music. However, there is a strong stamp of R D Burman (Pancham) that he strives to imprint on all his music. Thus, the music of this album is unabashedly inspired by the great R D Burman (Pancham).
This album is the maiden venture of both Mittal and Pranav. All the proceeds from the sale of this album will go to AIREP - Avbodh IQG Rural Empowerment Program.
