ARTIST BIO
Although Darryl Grant was born in Oakland, California, the experience he had in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania was a major turning point in his life. While living there he had the good fortune to record with legendary greats such as The Rolling Stones, Eddie Kendricks, Blue Magic, Major Harris and Fat Larry’s Band to name a few. Before relocating to Las Vegas, he moved back to the Bay Area and did a short stint there with The Natural Four. Currently Darryl performs with the vocal group Spectrum, a Las Vegas Motown Tribute group. In addition to headlining on Royal Caribbean cruises, they work the Symphony "Pops" Circuit.

Darryl has just completed work on his debut solo cd, All I Need Is You Tonight.
A dynamic team, with very, very impressive resumes, worked with him on this cd!!! Darryl himself has recorded with legendary greats such as Eddie Kendricks, The Rolling Stones, Blue Magic, Major Harris, The Natural Four and Fat Larry’s Band. The Producer and Arranger for his debut cd was McKinley Jackson. McKinley was Marvin Gaye''s musical director and did the horn arrangement for Gaye''s monster hit Sexual Healing. He has also worked with Lamont Dozier, Aretha Franklin, The Temptations, Helen Reddy, Norman Connors, The Impressions, First Choice, Tower of Power, and various other recording artists over the years. Other power houses on the team were twin brothers Melvin and Mervin Steals, the writers of The Spinners'' classic hit Could It Be I''m Falling In Love; Gloria Gaynor''s Honey Bee; The Trammps'' Trusting Heart; Love Thang by First Choice and the list goes on.
