Jamie Murphy is a singer-songwriter-artist who performs on guitar and piano. He attended the Berklee School of Music in Boston and has been performing and recording original music since the 1970s. His music has been described as "avant-garde Irish folk-rock." Mr. Murphy''s lyrics are poignant, heartfelt, and sometimes controversial.
Jamie worked as a guitarist with legendary musical artist Van Morrison at the Wang Center in Boston and the Electric Factory in Philadelphia performing the music from Morrison''s acclaimed album, "Astral Weeks."
