ALWAYS HERE, NEVER GONE (CARLO’S SONG)
When my family and I lost my brother to pancreatic cancer after a 3 year battle at the age of 35, our entire worlds fell apart. Knowing he would never want anyone to go through what he went through I decided to start a foundation in his name for pancreatic cancer research. I have raised $20,000 so far. Realizing there was no song that could properly express the love and respect I have for my brother, who was truly an amazing man, I wrote one expressing how I and everyone around him felt about how he lived his life and how our lives will never be the same without him. I asked my friend, David James Boyd to write music for my lyrics and so ALWAYS HERE, NEVER GONE (CARLO’S SONG) was born. I’m not a singer and never pretended to be one outside of singing in the car, but knew I needed to be the one to record the song because they were my words. I wanted to sing them to him, for him and because of him. I know my brother would be very proud of the fact that I put myself out there, something I normally wouldn’t have done. If you purchase ALWAYS HERE, NEVER GONE (CARLO’S SONG) you will be contributing to Carlo’s Goal, a foundation started in his name for pancreatic cancer research. A small amount can go a very long way.
