Ally Ions has successfully sold her CD’s nationally around Australia through leading bookstores, she also has been added to the catalogues of various state libraries and universities around the country.
Ally lives in Adelaide, South Australia has been working in the area of healing in mind and body for more than 15 years and has worked with men and women of all demographics from six years old through to over 80 years of age. Her catalogue of ten guided meditation/relaxation cd’s were produced in response to the request of her clients to be used as a tool, so that they and others who feel that these meditations can support and be of benefit to them, can use them in their everyday life.
Ally has produced a total of ten CD’s , two of those have been specifically created for children : Imagine which is a magical journey that helps to guide children safely to sleep and I Believe I Can! – a best seller to help children create a positive self confident attitude.
We use meditation to access a different brain wave frequency that allows easier access to the unconscious mind. This allows the individual to create new information that will support their journey to a healthy mind and body.
The parasympathetic response is the body’s natural mechanism for healing and regeneration. It can only occur during deep relaxation. Being in this state of deep relaxation helps to reset the body’s chemical and metabolic balance, strengthening its resistance to the effects of stress, illness or injury.
When you change your body you also change your mind. The relaxation of the nervous system has a direct effect on the brain and stimulates the brain to produce endorphins and the removal of undesirable chemicals during deep relaxation and stimulate feelings of confidence, happiness and well-being.
Regular practice of deep relaxation for 20-30 minutes per day can produce over time a generalisation of relaxation for the rest of your life. That is after several weeks of practising deep relaxation once per day you will tend to feel more relaxed all the time.
