Besides being blessed with the love and talent for music, I was blessed to have two cultures that influence my music. With my Mexican influence I was exposed to the unique style of the Yucatan trio and the more common mariachi; I grew up listening to icons such as Rocio Durcal(spain), Shakira and Mana, Pepe Aguilar etc. to mention a few. And of course the American influence included such talents as Madonna, Gloria Estefan and all of the classics. To me there is nothing more moving than spanish guitar...the gypsy Kings come to mind. I adore exploring world music and found many greats such as Tarkan from Turkey and Marcella Morello from Brazil. Music is the bridge that connects cultures and allows the expression of our inner soul - I do think I was from Spain in my other life!
