Details:
After testing many songs live to many audiences, this album came together under the guidance of rock producer Warren Hammond over a 12 month period. The songs were written by Steve Draper and guitarist Aaron Ninness with the whole band and producer involved in fine tuning the arrangements.
We have long felt songs should be easy to understand, yet be easy to tap along with whilst having a melody that sticks in your mind to sing again and again. With this in mind, the band also wanted to capture the energy from its live shows in the recordings, hence the employment of Warren Hammond to produce and engineer the album. After all this is a rock band and the rythym and beats have to be moving along...Yeah?
It was also felt that there should be sonic detail in the sound for those who listen closely and the audiophiles, but also have some thought provoking ideas in the words. Simple guidelines for music, but not easy to achieve. We believe we have managed to do this in this album, but you are the judge really.
