For me, these days, the songs I write are my comfort zone. As such, they''re intentionally simple -- mostly three-chord finger-picking stuff, with a bit of a blues bent, and little slide thrown in. Some harmonica, too -- I like how it makes you breathe. Oh, and I also love to sing harmonies, so I indulged myself a bit there, as well. I just did what pleased me. I hope the result pleases you, too.
