Details:
Mike Tyler is a celebrated artistic writer, poet, musician, director, and heavy tipper. His work captures the essence of city life (a NYC native), the fundamentals of love, and the eccentricities of “humane beans.” His written work includes appearances in magazines, anthologies, college-reading lists, and his own books. An accomplished performer (infamous for breaking an arm while doing a reading), Tyler has appeared across the US from NYC’s Lincoln Center to Seattle’s Bumbershoot Festival and internationally from
London’s ICA to the Sydney Festival.
Tyler’s production company, The Art Cannot Be Damaged (TACBD), is proud to release his new brand of music; beginning in 2007 with the self titled debut CD, MIKE TYLER followed by several singles and now this re-release of Tyler’s classic love song from his first record, Boring Song 2011. The song has been full produced by BL’EVE (Platinum Beat Service, Inc.) and now truly captures the poetic, sweet, and whimsical nature of the song.
Set for release in the fall of 2011 is Tyler’s new full-length album, ERECTION. Eleven fully produced songs that will take Tyler’s musical work to a new level. Look for the three album singles and their videos summer 2011.
TACBD is also responsible for the release of several works including; Tyler’s own No. America Series: fiction, poetry, drama, and philosophy (one book for every state),
movies (the full-length feature film, the unauthorized biography of adam and eve, written and directed by Tyler) and The Art Cannot Be Damaged Classics Series: classics wrapped with new flavor and refreshing forewords by Mike Tyler.
