Carefully recorded in Ben Smith''s home studio over an 18 month period, the songs are well-crafted and subtly played by a cast of great players including Ben Smith (a fiddler and one of Rich''s co-conspirators in Prairie Soul, a newgrass/ bluegrass/country band), John Moulton (also a member ot Prairie Soul), Andy Ploof (Rough Shop), Doug Jones (a professional pedal steel player from Oregon), Calvin Simmons (Rich''s son and a member of Sink the Bismark), Rachel Miskall and Matt Morgan (cello and keyboards respectively, formerly of Caravelle).
