Hadley came together at Compassio, a youth program in Southern California, in 2011. This group is explosive and insightful as they are not ashamed to leave Christian questions unresolved. The anthem, "Saved by Love" is brash and unapologetic as the chorus chimes, "Don''t tell me stop and be quiet now." The second song, "Holly''s Daddy," is a piano rock-ballad that discusses the relentlessness of self-imposed guilt. In "My Favorite Temptation," Hadley tells the story of a preacher still struggling with a temptation that he feel he should no longer face, but cannot help the feeling that he likes being tempted. Speaking to the times, "Live Your Lie" is a scalding criticism of corrupt ministers within the church, people who Jesus faced thousands of years ago within a corrupt religion. Lastly, the lullaby, "Blind and Broken" tells the story of a girl who is desperate to come into contact with a God she can no longer feel.
Hadley is composed of Peter Fukuda, Craig Hadley, Jeff Pettis, Jerry Slater, and Jeremy Torres.
