A close friend of mine recently turn one grandaughter passed away from a rare disease. The family has great faith in the Lord. When the baby passed away, I saw the pain my friend was going through. I so desparately wanted to comfort her, but realizing that no comfort can be given. How do you comfort someone who just lost her beloved granddaughter and at the same time seeing the pain her daughter was going through in losing her only child. She too was helpless in comforting her own daughter.
The Lord said "Blessed are they that mourn: for they shall be comforted." Matthew 5:4
The Lord did comfort that family. They have adopted a baby girl. They look forward to the day when they will be reunited with their baby that is now with the Lord.
