This album brings forth a powerful testimony of God’s grace, mercy, love, hope and strength through original songs written by a mother (Mona) her son (Christopher) and a couple tunes with a dear friend (Andrew Boyce from the band “Truth Bomb.”)
Mona and Chris have been playing and singing together from the time Chris was six-years-old (he’s now 18) and their journey has just begun. Mona is a Commissioned Reverend and Chris is in a Worship Team at their local church. Their passion is to reach out, through music, to people of all ages and share their original songs (and personal testimonies) to give hope to a lost and hurting world.
This particular project “DEVOTION,” has been born out of a near death experience Mona went through in October of 2010 resulting in receiving a liver transplant on Novmber the 11th! This experience has forever changed the Giordano family and this powerful testimony has inspired the music on this project. It has a message for EVERYONE at every age.
Stylistically it is diverse. The 3 song EP contains the journeys beginning, it’s mid-way inspiration and ends on a note of invitational conviction…some fast tempo, some moderate, and one slow tempo song…all three just right!
The 7 song full length CD will follow, but be assured you won’t want to wait to hear more after having heard these pre-release songs. The Giordano’s are now being invited to share their story and their music in churches (and other venues) if you have an opportunity to hear them in person, do so…this is life changing, faith building stuff!!!
