Lions N Poets was formed in early 2010 by singer/songwriter Tom Robles. Robles, a veteran of several local Los Angeles area bands, formed Lions N Poets as a vehicle to drive his new album, "On The Vine". Before entering the studio, Robles recruited drummer Patrick Coggins and guitarist Kevin Comden, formerly of Test of Will and veteran bassist Andy Robles. Guitarist Carlos Lopez rounded out the ensemble. The band spent February and March 2010 in the San Fernando Valley crafting and producing "Vine". Mixing catchy melodies with solid rock rhythms, the album takes the listener on a musical journey through California''s famed wine regions with small pit-stops into reality and life. Guitar driven and atmospheric, "On The Vine" introduces the band''s brand of "Sonic Pop".
