Debut Ep ‘I need words’ was recorded by Brisbane producer Caleb James in 2009 and it includes the CWA inspired tune ‘The Cat Song’ and heartbreaking ‘Hold it together (bushfires)written in response to the black Saturday bushfires in 2009. The film clip for ‘The Cat Song’ was filmed and directed by Brisbane based Timothy Hills in the tree lined streets of Narrandera in country NSW and was a whole family affair!
where: Grew up on a farm near Weethalle NSW, with CWA ladies, siblings,tree climbing, lots of tea and lots of music. After completing university Fanny moved to Sydney and is now based between there and the family farm.
why: To share and listen to new stories, music and laughter. To keep alive the important things in life like Nanna prints and the art of tea and conversation, re-using jars and of course-making music!
