Twenty-one or more cars will be leaving Times Square in New York bound for Paris! They will be traveling west through the Unities States with memorable stops along the way. Upon racing San Francisco the cares will be loaded onto a ship bound for Beijing, China for the Asia-Europe leg of the race. The racers will continue driving through China, Kazakhstan, Russia, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Poland, Germany, Czech Republic and Switzerland finally into Paris for a victorious finish.
Jerry Price of Price Racing Team wanted to make history as his predecessor did in 1908 and prove that the automobile could travel around the world. Jerry energized Dave Steffen about his corvette that ran on multiple fuels and also talked about the upcoming World Race and invited him to write a theme song for the event. Dave collaborated with the great lyric writer Mike Dellger and the song Second Wind was born.
