"Someone Like Me," the first single by newcomer Tareya Green is pure, addictive and catchy pop with a lovely piano rhythm. Tareya''s voice is not thin and reedy, like some of the recent pop singers (Vanessa Hudgens) but it is smooth and she uses it skillfully and well.
The lyrics seem meaningful to the artist, and isn''t just some random song that was assigned to a singer. The emotion can be heard in the heartfelt chorus, the tale of somebody who is looking for her soulmate.
I highly recommend this song to any fans of pop music and piano pop, and perhaps even country pop.
