Details:
Traditionally in hip hop a rapper has to have a stage name. I have chosen “The Elder” because I consider myself to be an originator of “Holy Hip Hop/Gospel Rapp”. I started writing and rapping in 1983. Most of the songs on this project were copy written in 1987 under a collection called “Before We Were Using Elevated Speeches”. An Elder is one who is mature in the faith and speaks with authority as unctioned by the Holy Ghost. I am called and chosen to do this work.
